INSPIRATION Dreams become reality when your work is authentic ~ from the heart ~ and you hone your skills expanding new possibilities every day.
In the early years my father provided creative inspiration in the woodworking shop he owned and operated. In the 1970’s I joined the company learning the craft and production. An instinctual eye for symmetry, proportion, and scale led me to designing for the company and responsibility for the production of creative works. This experience gave me a unique perspective about design choices and awareness of the many trades affected by those choices.
MY FOCUS Good design is the direct result of finding out what inspired the project, understanding the synergistic relationship between lifestyle, convenience, and fashion, and refining those details. When you embark on a project, large or small, the ownership experience begins with the initial inspiration, and continues long after the trades are in the distant past. Working toward the success of your project is my passion and etched into the fiber of how I work.
My works are featured in private residences and corporate buildings and collections.
PERSONAL I am an avid kayaker, cross-country skier and award winning photographer with a passion for design, and all things made of wood.
I have worked with Robert Erdmann for nearly 20 years on a number of projects. The largest project we worked on together was my new home. Robert designed the entire project, from pre-planning the floor plan to the home design and all of the cabinetry & millwork. Everything was custom tailored for convenience to our specific needs.
Robert's expertise and professionalism is what makes working with him a true joy. He has impeccable attention to detail and every one of those details has a role to play in the ultimate design.
